Finding phone numbers on the internet is no easy task. With so many sites, and so much extraneous information, it’s really hard to find what you’re looking for, like a digital needle in a cyber-haystack. If you have a phone number to search for, then reverse phone lookups can give you a name and address. However, if you don’t have a phone number to search for, then it’s even harder.

One non-phone search site that can be helpful is Wink.com. Wink is a interesting combination of people search and social networking site. Wink helps people who want to be found on the internet. By combining their own database with searches of other major social networking sites, Wink claims to have records of more than 20 million people.

To start your phone search on Wink, just type in the name and general location of the person you’re looking for. Wink has the added bonus of giving an extra space for you to input a hobby or interest that might help aid the search. Like all other search engines, Wink works best on unique searches, meaning it’s hard to find common names in large cities because there are so many search results. While not all Wink profiles include a phone number, they do include links to other places that person might be found on the internet, and these could easily have the information you’re looking for.

So if you need to search a phone number you found on Wink or anyplace else, use the resources available on the internet. Now you can use a reverse phone lookup to find out even more in just a few moments.

Susan has an undying knack for tech gadgets and cool tech websites. You can check out her latest techie project–a tool to find out who owns a cell phone number–at http://www.SearchAnyNumber.com

Everyone brings its brand of uniqueness and style but caters to one common idea of an online community constantly connected with one another. One such social networking site is Kaneva.

Kaneva is a 3D virtual world that supports 2D web browsing, social networking and shared media. It was developed by Kaneva, Inc. a privately owned Atlanta-based company founded in 2004 by Christopher Klaus and Greg Frame.

Kaneva was originally founded to develop a massive multi-player Online Game (MMOG) but its founders perceived a need in the gaming industry for a software solution that would aid in the development of games. In late 2004, Kaneva released the first version of their Kaneva Game Platform that included features to enable professional or independent game developers to develop games. As Web 2.0 became more mainstream, Kaneva decided to use its own technology to develop a virtual world that combined video sharing, social networking and 3D environments into one place. In 2005, Kaneva started development on the Virtual World of Kaneva, the company’s flagship product. The Virtual World of Kaneva was released into beta in mid 2006.

While developing this new direction, Kaneva did not abandon the original focus of building a Kaneva Game Platform. A new site was thus created in April 2006 to allow the community of game developers to collaborate on their projects. This site was named the Kaneva Elite Developers Site. Currently, the Kaneva Elite Developers have over a hundred games in development and thousands of active game developers.Kaneva brings social networking to a whole new level, combining the features of social networking with 3D imagery. To think of it, the fusion of two of the most popular modern hobbies – 3D gaming and social networking is the brightest idea I have crossed with.

Hopefully they will be able to further develop the idea and bring some new experience to users.
